Colorful dike
The dikes and dams at the Waddensea have different colors during the year. In August are the colors of this dike at their best. A layer of yellow algae covers the dike in the colorful saltings.
De dijken en waterkeringen in de Waddenzee hebben het hele jaar door andere kleuren. In augustus is deze dijk op zijn mooist. Een laag gele algen bedekt de in kleurrijke kwelders liggende dijk.
